We are proud to announce, Brett Steele – aka Nasty Wedge from Greensburg, PA
Name: Brett Steele aka Nasty Wedge
Currently resides in: Greensburg, Pennsylvania
Age: 9
Q: How long have you been a Packer Fan?
A: All of my life
Q: Who is your all-time favorite player? Why?
A: Aaron Rodgers! Cause he is money!
Q: Who’s your favorite player now? Why?
A: James Jones! Get the ball to him, he will score!
Q: If you can hang out with any Packer, who would be?
A: HaHa Clinton-Dix.
Q: Are your friends in school Pittsburgh Steeler Fans? Do they give you a hard time being a Packer Fan?
A: Yes, they are Steeler fans and they give me a hard time in school. But I respond, \”Thanks for Super Bowl 45\”.
Q: When did you come up with Nasty Wedge? Tell us more about Nasty Wedge?
A: I came up with the name last year. Nasty Wedge is a combination of Super Fans from the PFUFA from Tampa, Cincinnati, Houston, Philadelphia and Green Bay. They are great role models and people I look up to.
Q: This year at the Packers vs. Seattle Game you joined the gang in Lot 1 to sing “Tim-The Die Hard Packer Fan”? Was that fun?
A: Yes! I practiced it since last year and wanted to join my friends Scott Schwartz and Justin Sipla for their tailgate tradition.
Q: Your Dad (Rick Steele) Cheese-Wedge is in the PFUFA (Professional Football’s Ultimate Association). When did you start going to Canton with your Dad?
A: I started going to Canton in 2014 with my Dad.
Q: What is your favorite thing at the PFUFA (Professional Football’s Ultimate Association) Events?
A: I enjoyed hanging out with all of the Super Fans at the tailgate and marching in the parade. But most of all, I enjoyed going to the J. Babe Stern Center and handing out school supplies to kids less fortunate than I am.
Q: What is your favorite thing when you go to a game at Lambeau Field?
A: Standing at the fence after practice to get autographs from the Packers.
Q: How many Player’s Autographs do you have now?
A: I probably have around 100 autographs in my collection.
Q: Do you have any game day rituals?
A: When I am going to the game I get my face paint on and get into my Nasty Wedge gear early. I get to Lot 1 just after the gates open. I hang out there and try to get to the stadium early to watch warm ups. During the game I try to get the crowd around me fired up! I am one of the last people to leave Lambeau because I want to enjoy the experience for as long as I can. When I am at home watching the Packers I get everything in our Packers bar ready for the game. The first thing I do is organize all the mini helmets from the NFL to the day\’s match-ups. Then I turn on all the Packer lights and put on my lucky game day jersey. I watch all the pregame shows then watch football until bedtime.
Any last words you\’d like to say to the Packer Nation?
P-A-C-K-E-R-S 4 LIFE!!
